Miner Profits from the Minor Prophets VBS 2026 is in the books!
We learned:
💎from Hosea, how God is faithful even when we are not.
💎from Joel, how just like mining treasure takes effort, so does having a relationship with Jesus.
💎from Amos, how if we ask God for forgiveness when we mess up He gives us a clean slate.
💎from Obadiah, that no one is better than anyone else and when we gloat, brag, or celebrate others misfortunes we come out looking pretty small in the end.
💎from Jonah, there are negative consequences that impact us and others when we are not obedient to God's instructions.

We mined gems of all shapes and sizes, received lots of stickers, and won Bibles which contain something more valuable than gems and gold - instructions on how to become part of God's family.✝️

We had 71 little miners come through our church this week and we were blessed by every single one! ⛏️

Together they raised over $1,600 to help missionaries share the love of Jesus and provide for needs through BGMC!!💛
Last year they raised $1,000, so I challenged them to do more this year. They surpassed the call, and so Pastor and I will be reaching out with a date for a back to school pizza and ice cream party. Stay tuned for the date! We want to honor their generosity and it will be fun to reconnect before next year.

Our volunteers were AMAZING and we could not have made it through the week without them! They were united and came together for every adjustment needed to make sure the kids had a safe and fun place to learn from God's word! I absolutely loved working with this year's team!

Thank you to all the parents who trusted us with your littles this past week! We hope they came home excited about Jesus and how much He loves them!

Thank you everyone for being a part of a record breaking year on all fronts! We know the Holy Spirit is responsible for our growth every year and this year is no different as we do our best to steward the responsibilities He has given us well. May all the Glory be His💜

Night 4✅ We learned all about Obadiah and the message God gave him for the people of Edom. Don't gloat! God hasn't called us to celebrate others failures and no one is better than anyone else! When we think we are better, we often come out looking small to others.

SPECIAL NOTE: Tonight, we will tally up the totals for our missions offering to BGMC. It's possible our ending assembly may take a little longer as the kids will have earned the opportunity to pie one of our leaders in the face. We planning to make some adjustments, so that it's not too far off dismissal time, but feel free to come sit in the open pews and enjoy the kids having some extra fun. We appreciate your patience as we reward the kids for their generosity!

We do ask that you still wait until our dismissal team has released your child by calling their name, so the we can officially check them out. If they need to leave earlier, please let a leader with a volunteer tag know so we can get them checked out and not have any missing kids. We appreciate all who have supported us as we do our absolute best to make sure your kids are accounted for, safe, and released to you or the people you wish us to release them too!

Night 1 is in the books! FIFTY-FOUR kiddos graced us with their presence last night, making England First Assembly (in our time) VBS HISTORY. Our BIGGEST night ever! We had some hiccups, but it was so much fun learning how God showed us through Hosea that His love is as SOLID as a ROCK. Even when we mess up, He still love us❤️

NIGHT 2 is TONIGHT - if your kids had fun then let them invite a friend! If you let the registration table know, we'll give them an extra entry in the prize drawing.

Night 1 starts tomorrow and we are all excited! Going to be a great week! Continue to get those registrations submitted!

Transportation cut off will be 3 pm each day to make the pick-up list. In other words any registration we receive after 3 pm we can't pick up, because we need to get the route made out. If you let us know at the registration table, we can drop off that day though and we will get them on the route the rest of the week.

I heard hot dogs are on the dinner menu tomorrow night!
