TIME TO START YOUR PREPARATION FOR THE 2027 CALIFORNIA BAR EXAM 🚨

My July 6 Early Bar Prep cohort is almost full, and due to demand, I have officially opened an additional start date of August 10.

One of the biggest mistakes I see applicants make is waiting too long to start building the skills necessary to pass the California Bar Exam.

Early Bar Prep is not about studying 40+ hours per week.

It’s about strategically building:
βœ” Legal Analysis
βœ” Writing Skills
βœ” Issue Spotting
βœ” PT Ex*****on
βœ” Memorization Techniques
βœ” Exam Strategy

With only approximately 10 hours per week, applicants can build a strong foundation long before traditional bar prep begins.

This program is ideal for:
β€’ Foreign Attorneys
β€’ Repeaters
β€’ Working Professionals
β€’ Parent Applicants
β€’ Accommodation Applicants
β€’ First-Time Takers Who Want to Avoid Last-Minute Cramming

July 6 is almost full.

August 10 enrollment is now open.

Mandatory consultation required prior to enrollment.
Serious applicants only.

ARE BAR EXAM PREDICTIONS RELIABLE? πŸ€”

The short answer is: yes… but only to a point.

I have studied over 30 years of California Bar Exam essay testing patterns, frequency trends, and subject rotations. Predictions can absolutely help you prioritize your final review and identify areas that deserve extra attention.

However, predictions should never replace a solid foundation in all tested subjects.

The applicants who perform best on exam day are those who use predictions strategically while still maintaining competency across the full scope of the exam.

In this video, I discuss how much weight you should give predictions and how I personally approach them.

Looking ahead to 2027?

The best time to start building that foundation is long before traditional bar prep begins. Early Bar Prep allows applicants to strengthen issue spotting, analytical writing, memorization, and exam strategy gradually over time rather than cramming everything into a few short months.

🚨 JULY 2026 PREDICTED ESSAY TOPICS 🚨

If you’re taking the July 2026 California Bar Exam, there are three subjects that I believe deserve some extra TLC during these final weeks of preparation.

These are NOT my final predictions, but they are three areas that I would make sure are thoroughly reviewed before exam day.

Watch the video to find out which subjects made my list.

As always, predictions are never guaranteed. However, historically my predictions have been very strong and often fall within the 80-90% range.

Looking ahead to 2027?

Now is the time to start preparing early.

My Early Bar Prep Program is designed for applicants who want to build a strong foundation in the law, improve writing and analytical skills, strengthen issue spotting, develop effective memorization techniques, and avoid the stress of last-minute cramming.

Whether you are a first-time taker, repeater, foreign attorney, working professional, parent applicant, or accommodation applicant, starting early can dramatically change the trajectory of your preparation.

I am now enrolling applicants for June and July 2027 Early Bar Prep.

JULY 2026 APPLICANTS: TIPS TO STAY ON TRACK πŸ‘‡

βœ” Stay on your schedule, even if you have a bad day.

βœ” Remember that bar prep is a learning process. You are not supposed to know everything right now.

βœ” Do not let one bad MBE set, one difficult essay, or one frustrating study session derail your momentum.

βœ” Focus on progress, not perfection.

βœ” Every week should feel like growth. If you’re learning from your mistakes, you’re moving in the right direction.

Most applicants who pass do not have perfect bar prep. They have consistent bar prep.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep moving forward.

The goal is not to be perfect today. The goal is to be ready on exam day.

MAJOR NEWS REGARDING THE FUTURE OF THE CALIFORNIA BAR EXAM 🚨

The California State Bar Board of Trustees and Committee of Bar Examiners have officially recommended that California adopt the NextGen Bar Exam beginning in July 2028.

The recommendation is now before the California Supreme Court, and a decision is expected by the end of July.

What does this potentially mean for future applicants?

If California ultimately adopts NextGen, the format of the exam and preparation process could significantly change beginning in July 2028.

For applicants who wish to avoid a potential transition period and complete the process under the current format, I would strongly consider strategically planning to take the exam no later than July 2027 so that, in the event of a retake, you would still remain within the current exam structure through February 2028.

At this point, nothing has been finalized, and we are all awaiting the California Supreme Court’s decision.

I will continue posting updates and analysis as more information develops.

What are your thoughts on California potentially adopting NextGen?

RESULTS SEASON IS ENDING… NOW WHAT? πŸ‘‡

I can feel the energy slowly beginning to shift from results season.

For some of you, the disappointment is still fresh. But for others, you are beginning to realize that it is time to move forward and decide what happens next.

You can continue repeating the same preparation patterns and trying to piece this exam together on your own…

OR…

You can approach this exam with a new strategy, a new structure, and a completely different level of accountability and guidance.

But no matter what path you choose β€” never stop believing in yourself.

This exam does not define your intelligence or your future as an attorney.

You still have time to book a consultation for:

WHAT SHOULD REAL BAR EXAM TUTORING ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE? πŸ‘‡

Real bar exam tutoring should be individualized, strategic, and built around YOUR specific weaknesses and performance patterns β€” not scattered check-ins with rotating tutors who never fully learn your preparation.

One of my strengths as a tutor is being able to quickly review essays, PTs, and MBE data and identify exactly where the breakdown is occurring and what needs to change strategically.

Effective tutoring should provide:
βœ” individualized feedback
βœ” structured guidance
βœ” accountability
βœ” schedule adjustments
βœ” performance tracking
βœ” ongoing assessment to ensure progression over time

Successful bar preparation is not simply about doing more work β€” it is about learning HOW to improve performance strategically and consistently over time.
