Root Rising
Helping women break free from chronic gut symptoms by uncovering the real patterns driving the Gut Overload Cycle.
You think you’re in control.
But if your entire life revolves around avoiding symptoms, are you?
The safe food list.
The conversation you have with yourself before every meal.
Wondering if it’s worth the risk.
Food didn’t start this.
Your body was already carrying more than it could comfortably handle before you sat down to eat.
The food was just the last thing that went in before everything reacted.
That’s why adding more food rules rarely creates the freedom you’re actually looking for.
Has it gotten to this point for you?

Your bloating and your people pleasing have more in common than you think.
Your body keeps score of every time you said yes when you meant no.
What does your body do when you can’t say no?
I KNOW you’ve tried.
You’ve been told to breathe. Maybe try yoga.
Like the problem is your reaction to life rather than what life has genuinely been asking of your body for years.
You’ve tried to “manage your stress better.”
And the symptoms kept coming back.
What is actually happening is your body has been running close to its limit for a while now.
The same things that used to not bother you are completely overwhelming you because there’s less room than there used to be.
That’s not a stress problem.
That’s a load problem.
And those need completely different solutions.
Because the goal isn’t becoming better at handling more.
The goal is helping your body carry less.
That’s where I would start.
Does being told to “manage your stress” make you want to scream a little?
Comment YES if so. 🤍
This is what it looks like when your gut starts running your social life.
First, it’s certain restaurants.
Then it’s anywhere you can’t control the menu.
Then it’s going out altogether.
Not because you don’t want to go.
Because you’re exhausted from wondering whether your body is going to cooperate.
So you start saying no.
Not because you’re antisocial.
Because explaining it over and over gets tiring.
And eventually the invitations slow down.
Not because people stopped caring.
Because you’ve stopped showing up.
The hardest thing about chronic gut symptoms isn’t always the discomfort.
It’s how much life starts shrinking around them.
