Growth doesn’t just happen; it’s often shaped by the infrastructure decisions agencies make today. For transportation and rail projects, CEQA growth-inducing impacts analysis can quickly become central to both project defensibility and public trust, especially as courts continue to reinforce the need for clear, evidence-based narratives beyond plan consistency.
In our latest article, Scout Jackson Orlando breaks down key case law, practical distinctions like “planned vs. induced” growth, and how agencies can strengthen CEQA documentation for complex infrastructure projects. Read more here about how thoughtful analysis supports better outcomes and reduces risk: https://scoutenv.com/2026/06/01/ceqagrowthinducingimpactsanalysisapracticalguidefortransportationprojects/

Memorial Day asks something simple of us: to remember. It’s a time to honor the lives of those who never came home and reflect on the freedoms their sacrifice secured.
For many, this day is deeply personal, a time to remember friends, teammates, and family members whose service came at the highest cost. Their legacy shapes the nation we enjoy today. At Scout, we’re grateful for the veterans who have served and continue to serve our communities. If you’re able, consider observing a moment of silence at 3 PM or finding a meaningful way to pay tribute. We remember. We honor. Happy Memorial Day to all, especially our veterans.

On Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we recognize the vital role that military spouses play in readiness by supporting service members through moves, deployments, and constant change. As a DVBE and SDVOSB partner supporting public sector outcomes, Scout is proud to shine the spotlight on this “force behind the force”. Today, we thank military spouses for all they do – and give special recognition to Scout Melanie Hernandez and Jaime Pingree, spouse of Scout Ryan Pingree, for their “tour of duty” as military spouses.

This Asian American Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, Scout celebrates the cultures, contributions, and leadership of AANHPI individuals. The AANHPI demographic represents one of the fastest-growing populations in the U.S., now over 24 million strong. There is no single AANHPI story; instead, a vast spectrum of experiences. Scout is proud to honor the generations of AANHPI individuals whose perspectives and impact strengthen our nation.
