We are proud of our Senior Project Manager, Andrew Regan, for earning his Certified Green Building Professional accreditation through Build it Green! This course teaches the foundational principles of green building and the systems approach to the design, construction and operation of residential buildings. We look forward to utilizing this knowledge when continuing to build healthy homes for our clients.

We just installed a greenhouse at the Winter Residence. It has 3 openable windows on the roof - one is manual (opened with a pole) and the other two open automatically based on the temperature inside the greenhouse. Can’t wait to see it filled with plants!

The newly completed Meineke residence in Solana Beach. We are 🖤ing the look of the iron gray shingles!

Every project we have a meeting with our subs to get everyone on the same page about the sustainability features of the project. Seems simple, but is not a common practice in construction. By having the different trades meet each other we can identify synergies, saving time, money, and resources down the line.

Snacks and fresh squeezed orange juice also helps to get everyone in the same room 😊🍊

Have you ever considered switching from gas to an induction cooktop? We are big proponents because of the indoor air quality benefits (facts) and superior cooking experience (our opinion 😊). However, some clients love their gas ranges. This induction cooktop loaner program through the San Diego Green Building Council is a great way to test out electrified cooking.

We are proud to announce that the Brinner Novak Residence won the GreenPoint Rated Merit Award at the SD Green Building Council Sustainability Awards! Over the past year, the owners turned their house into a home. They say it’s noticeably more comfortable with fresher air than typical homes – a blessing in a year where most time has been spent indoors.
