From painful and restricted to moving more comfortably ✨
After experiencing trauma, this patient came in with jaw pain, limited opening, difficulty biting, and a noticeable shift in how the jaw moved.
Our examination revealed:
✔️ TMJ dysfunction
✔️ Uneven jaw movement with clicking
✔️ Restrictions in the upper cervical spine that were contributing to the problem
Treatment focused on restoring healthy movement in both the jaw and neck through targeted chiropractic care and TMJ-specific techniques.
The result? 🙌
✨ Improved jaw symmetry
✨ Less pain
✨ More comfortable biting and opening
The jaw and cervical spine work together more than most people realize. When one isn't moving well, it can affect the other, which is why we evaluate the whole picture instead of just treating where it hurts.

Shoulder pain doesn't have to be part of being a swimmer. 🏊♂️
Swimming places thousands of repetitive overhead movements on the shoulders every week. Over time, even small movement restrictions or muscle imbalances can add up, leading to pain, stiffness, and decreased performance.
This swimmer came to us with shoulder discomfort that was impacting both training and recovery.
Take a look behind the scenes at what a treatment session can include. 👀
Our goal was to:
💥 Reduce pain and irritation
💪 Improve shoulder mobility

Not all back or neck pain is created equal. 👀
If you've been dealing with pain that just won't go away, it's easy to assume you need more stretching, more rest, or to simply "live with it."
But sometimes the issue is that certain structures in the spine are under increased stress or pressure.
For the right patient, spinal decompression can be an effective, non-surgical treatment designed to gently reduce pressure on spinal discs and nerves while encouraging improved movement and comfort.
It may be considered for people experiencing:
✔️ Neck or back pain
✔️ Pain that travels into the arms or legs
✔️ Numbness or tingling
✔️ Symptoms that worsen with sitting
✔️ Disc-related conditions (when clinically appropriate)
The key is this: spinal decompression isn't for everyone.
That's why we always perform a thorough examination to determine what's actually causing your symptoms before recommending any treatment. Your care should be based on your diagnosis - not just your pain.
👉 Swipe through to see 5 signs you might benefit from spinal decompression and learn if it could be part of your path to recovery!

Those circles aren't bruises, they're a normal response to the suction created during cupping therapy. 👀
So... what exactly is happening?
Cupping uses negative pressure (suction) to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues instead of compressing them. Researchers believe this can:
🩸 Increase local blood flow
🧠 Influence how the nervous system processes pain (neuromodulation)
💪 Reduce muscle tenderness and stiffness
🛠️ Create temporary changes in the tissues that may improve movement and comfort
The circular marks are caused by tiny blood vessels (capillaries) responding to the suction - not by blunt-force trauma like a typical bruise. They usually fade over several days to a couple of weeks, depending on the individual.
What does the research say? 📚
Research suggests cupping may help reduce pain in the short term for some musculoskeletal conditions, especially when used as part of a broader treatment plan.
At our office, cupping isn't a one-size-fits-all treatment. It's simply one tool we may use alongside rehabilitation, chiropractic care, and movement-based therapies to help patients move and feel better.

POV: You finally tried the neck adjustment everyone's talking about... 👀🤯
We started out with spinal decompression therapy to to gently create space within the spine to help reduce pressure on irritated structures and improve movement.
We then moved into this cervical spine adjustment. This gentle cervical traction adjustment can help improve movement, reduce pressure on irritated joints, and relieve tension that's been keeping your neck stiff and uncomfortable.
So if you've been living with:
⚡ Neck pain
💥 Headaches
🤕 Stiffness
📍 Pain that travels into your shoulders or arms
..it might be time to stop masking the symptoms and find the source.

Have you ever wondered why two people with the same pain can require completely different treatment plans? 🤔
The answer is simple: pain is a symptom - not a diagnosis.
That's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to care.
Every patient who walks through our doors has a unique history, lifestyle, goals, and movement patterns. Even if two people are experiencing the same symptoms, the underlying cause may be entirely different.
Our priority is to identify what's contributing to your symptoms so we can create a treatment plan that's tailored specifically to your needs.
Depending on your examination findings, your care may include functional neurology, SoftWave therapy, spinal decompression therapy, rehabilitation exercises, low level laser therapy, postural movements, or a combination of these approaches. Every recommendation is based on what we believe will best support your recovery and help you achieve your goals.
Because the most effective treatment isn't the same for everyone, it's the treatment that's right for you.

💥 This patient came in with pain related to a thoracic disc issue that was limiting movement and making everyday activities uncomfortable.
As part of the treatment plan, we performed a cervical traction adjustment (often called a "neck pull") to help improve joint motion, reduce mechanical stress through the spine, and restore normal movement patterns.
Why the neck?
The spine functions as one connected system. Restrictions in the cervical spine can influence how the thoracic spine moves and bears load. By improving mobility in the neck, we can often reduce strain throughout the rest of the spine and help the body move more efficiently.
The result? 👇
✅ Improved mobility
✅ Less discomfort
✅ Better overall movement
✅ A patient who left feeling much better than when they walked in
Every patient is different, which is why treatment is always based on a thorough examination, not just where the pain is located.
📩 If back pain, neck pain, or disc-related symptoms are keeping you from doing what you love, send us a DM to learn more about your treatment options.
