Surrogacy at Nascency

What a gem! Angela reflects on her experience with her husband during her surrogacy journey and previous pregnancies:

We hear it time and time again a support person or partner's love and support can mean the world. Angela had her husband, and this particular observation of his care during both their family pregnancies and surrogacy journeys is heartening. We also hear it from surrogates whose support comes from parents, siblings, children, extended family, and friends: that capacity for love and support doesn't change during surrogacy. Research has found that women with stronger support during pregnancy experience lower rates of postpartum depression, and their babies tend to have higher Apgar scores at birth. What a beautiful reminder that support matters and that it can come from so many places.
