Let me go out muddy, howling and with a full belly.
Fangs catching the sunlight.
Throat raw from laughter.
Lungs pumping.
Rib cage flaring in and out like wings of some raptor.
Skin smooth, warm, weathered.
Leave me tattooed with red clay.
With sea salt lingering in my eyelashes.
This is not pain.
This is not battle.
This is the unfiltered human experience.
