Made this Bootiful ghost garland for the fireplace to get into the Halloween holiday spirit.

Sometimes a little stain and new hardware is all you need. Freshen this dresser up with a sanding, wood conditioner, and a staining with the stain color Kona. Updated the hardware and adding my signature paper in the drawers with leftover paper I had from another project. It doesn’t look like a big difference from the before but it really is!

When you give a few too many sh*ts about what your changing table looks like, this is the result. Because this is in the main living room, I felt like it needed to look like a normal furniture piece but I couldn’t find one that didn’t look too nursery room so I did a little on a rolling kitchen cart I found on . I painted on a linen grasscloth look because 1 didn’t want to have to wallpaper this whole thing and 2 that paper is crazy expense. To create the look I added a thicken glaze to several different shades of paint and used the head of a dish scrubber to scrap off the paint while wet to make the textured lines. I love a pop of color and pattern in the things I spruce up. I was able to get with this stunning paper that is lining the drawer and that back of the cabinet. The original cart (swipe through to the cart before) had these 2 bulky black wheels that wasn’t going to match the look, by replacing them with vintage gold wheel casters I gave this cart a bit of uniqueness. The new hardware and pompom/tassel give this a the girlie touch I wanted to complete the look. I am loving this pretty spot to clean up some dirty diapers.

Tucked just inside our front door there use to be a chair that had no other purpose but for me to throw the dog leash on so I decided we needed to change that. I found an old ikea cabinet on that the previous owner added wood block “feet” and gave it a proper spruce. I painted on top of the whitewash wood veneer with my favorite polar bear white, removed the wooden blocks and added gold feet, gave the back a pop of pattern with this navy scalloped paper, and finally topped it off with new good tear drop pulls. This cabinet is the first thing you see when you walk into the door and it looks GOOD.

This glider rocking chair has seen it’s fair share of long nights rocking babies to sleep. It has also seen my front porch for about a year as I started and stopped this project several times. Now with its new refreshed look it gets to once again rock a little one off to dream land. By sanding, cleaning and conditioning the wood, weathering it, white washing it, sanding it again and recovering the cushions I helped give this well loved chair a modern makeover for a new family. So happy for them and their 2 new additions- their little boy and this chair!

This one was a labor of love. It is a commissioned piece for one of my friends nursery for her first born. I was guided my her vision board. I found a great paper that matched the pattern of a blanket she had on the board. Swipe through to see the before.

SPACE SPRUCE: It is crazy what some elbow grease and paint can do. This apartment needed some sprucing and it surely got it! Now let’s see how fast the apartment gets rented! Do you have a space that needs some sprucing? If so, DM me for details.

SPACE SPRUCE: So fresh and so clean!
This bathroom is part of a larger project I am working on. I am sprucing up a rental property for a client to prepare it to list it for rent. Stay tuned for more before and afters from this space.
The previous tenant had been in living there for many years and this bathroom clearly showed it’s use. I used the powdered and bleach trick and to scrub this room (ceiling, walls, and tub) to a sparkling clean.
