Providing bicycles to people living in impoverished areas throughout the world, in order to enhance
Do Something Now is dedicated to providing bicycles to people living in impoverished areas throughout the world. By donating bicycles as a means of transportation, recipients have enhanced access to medical care, education, and jobs. Starting in 2009, we have been able to donate around 40-70 bikes a year. Our bicycles are specially designed to be used in rural areas with rough roads--they have one gear, coaster brakes and thick, thorn resistant tires. At present, these bicycles costs about $150 per bicycle including delivery.
