Celebrated my daughter Lexi Lary at her bridal luncheon this morning 🩵 then it was back to chicken mom when I got home !! Expanded the run 10x16 on one side and have a bit more to go for another 20x20 spot that will be coming next and pics to follow soon! Wanted to share a proud mom post too 🩵

Thanks to Michelle at Turk Farm for the beautiful these treats today !!! A huge early girl tomato plant that is already heavy with some amazing looking tomatoes. A few hybrid hot pepper plants with a few littles already coming in. A couple Shishido pepper plants and a set of tomatillo plants that have already started producing as well! The Happy Frog soil is amazing and will be a great jumpstart for these plants.

We so enjoyed spending the morning with you and talking all things plants and catching up.

We have these all planted in large pots for now as we are not ready for a full garden just yet but are already planning for next year. These will set me up for some good salsa making that for sure 🥰🥰🥰

And thanks to Michelle we are having some of the their canned yumminess with our burgers for diner tonight too!

Biggest egg I have ever gotten from one of our girls… betting it’s a double yolk egg. The pic doesn’t even do it justice because the other eggs are extra large usually anyway. Then I had one girl lay a very tiny one compared to usual especially in comparison to her nest mate. Amy Barker

You know you have evolved into a crazy chicken lady with a problem when you do a drive by deal for live superworms for your chickens. Thanks to The Worm Guy for their little treat 🩵 they went crazy for them !!!
