Our family has decided to hold an estate sale which includes a large and diverse range of art, furniture, décor, serving pieces, travel memorabilia, and so much more. While we have kept the items most meaningful to us from our parents, we are now ready to find new homes for the remaining pieces. Each item has a story and has been lovingly cared for, and we hope that they will bring joy and usefulness to their new owners.

Dear Friends,

After more than a decade of wonderful experiences hosting events at Scarbrough Haven and helping our parents bring their dream property to life, we, the Scarbrough Sisters, have made the difficult decision to retire from the event industry following Dad’s passing and to sell the event venue.

As we reflect on this journey, we are profoundly grateful for the unforgettable memories we’ve shared, the remarkable guests we’ve had the pleasure of serving, and the incredible vendor friends who have supported us along the way. Your trust in us with your special moments means the world. And we look forward to seeing how this magical property will be developed even beyond what we could hope or imagine.

While this decision was made some time ago, we chose to wait until we completed all our scheduled weddings to share the news. Our final wedding is this weekend, coinciding with what would have been Mom and Dad’s 66th wedding anniversary—a beautiful sense of closure for us.

As we move forward, we will always treasure the beautiful moments we’ve shared with all of you. Thank you for being such a significant part of our lives through your support and friendship. Please stay in touch!

It's with great sadness to tell you that our amazing father passed away peacefully today with all three daughters (Lark, Greer, & Codi) by his side. He will be missed immensely, and we are happy that he will finally be reunited with our Mom. We know she will have plenty of projects and adventures lined up for them!

A perfect view to end the week!

Our property is directly on Lake Fork, a championship bass fishing lake. People literally come from all over the world to fish here. Both getting ready suites have full bathrooms with showers, which is perfect after a morning with the fish. So, if you and/or your significant other are avid fishermen, what better place to spend your wedding day? Even if you don’t fish, this view is so relaxing. It’s so calming just to sit and listen. Win/win for everyone!

Throwback Thursday when we were able to have these flowers serve double duty for both ceremony and then later for some photos in our greenhouse. These were perfect for a garden-vibe wedding! What I love is how the florist, on her way to the venue that morning, spontaneously pulled over at a road side nursery and purchased some bougainvillea plants to utilize their unique blooms. It added the perfect final touch to the gorgeous arrangements. Key tip: don’t forget to look to amazing local nurseries to add a layer beauty to your wedding day! Plants make the whole vibe so welcoming.
