🚁 WGN Morning News is flying over Sandburg Middle School on Friday, May 9 at 7:20 AM! Join us behind Sandburg at 7:00 AM for music, snacks, fun activities — and a chance to be on TV! SMS students and feeder families are welcome! Elementary parents/guardians, please stay with your child and allow time for drop-off at your school.

Huge thanks to Dr. Hurt, the York High School administrative team, counselors, support staff, and student leaders for providing such a strong and supportive transition for our Sandburg Spartans! We are grateful for the warm welcome, the thoughtful preparation, and the encouragement you’ve shown our students as they take this exciting next step.

Spartans: Due to the Winter Weather Advisory, all District 205 buildings will be closed tomorrow, Feb. 12. All before- and after-school activities are canceled. Middle school e-learning will begin at 8:30 AM. There will be no late start, and school will follow normal schedules remotely.
