Rest day and working on my posing. has convinced me to do a bodybuilding show. Plan is to finish up prep for my powerlifting meet in December then meet with a bodybuilding coach in January 💪🏼

-pull the slack out
-push the floor, not the bar
-breathe & brace
-drag the bar up your legs
-finish tall

For yearsss I thought that the only way I could grow my lats was to do lat pull downs, or some variation of it.

Fast forward few years and lat pull downs are still in my back day but single arm movements and HEAVY rows are a staple.

Unexpected rest day today. This clip is from yesterdays session. The change in weather got me feeling a little sick and very fatigued. Might hit some light accessory work later today but for now lots of stretching and protein💪🏼

Slept wrong on my shoulder and could barely move my neck when I woke up. Hit some foam rolling and lots of stretching on this unexpected rest day. Second week in a row of an unexpected rest day but that’s OKAY. Life just be like that sometimes but I like to look at it as a way to get stronger and better. With the time I spent resting today I was able to catch-up on some school work. Now I’m set-up to have more than enough time (and energy) to kill my workouts this weekend💪🏼
