Travel training is available for those new to transit, people unfamiliar with our particular service, or folks navigating with a disability. Learn the ropes of transit and get some practice before you take the bus on your own!

The closest stops to the Celebration today are 145 E High St and Cecil College Elkton Station. 145 E High St is accessible on the Glasgow and Cross-County routes. Cecil College Elkton Station is accessible on all routes!

Today is a day where we encourage residents to put down the gas pump and try Cecil Transit. Fixed Route services will be free all day, excluding deviations. Riders can also complete a survey to receive a free insulated shopping tote. If you've never ridden Cecil Transit this is a great time to try and if you are a current rider, try a route you usually don't take! You might be surprised to learn where we can get you😊

The day is almost here! Tomorrow is Dump the Pump Day, our annual fare-free day where you can ride Fixed Route free all day, excluding deviations. Join us and take a survey to receive a complimentary insulated tote bag.

If you haven't ridden Cecil Transit before, now is the best time to try it out! Take a free ride and see if we are going your way!

Distractions can be deadly. We all know we shouldn't use our phone while driving but few acknowledge the danger of walking and texting. If you're paying attention to your phone you might not see that uneven sidewalk, you may miss crucial safety signage, or you might just miss your bus stopping for you.

Our annual Dump the Pump Day is this Thursday, June 18th! Rides on Cecil Transit Fixed Route will be free all day, excluding deviations. Try out the bus and see all the fun places we can take you this summer like the library or movie theater. Riders will also be able to acquire one of our insulated shopping tote upon completion of a rider survey. Put down the gas and save some cash, this Thursday!

Holiday Service Update - Cecil Transit will be closing all services on July 3rd and July 4th in observance of the holiday. Please plan accordingly.

We are officially one week away from Dump the Pump! Join us on June 18 for our annual free-ride event where you can ride our Fixed Route buses at no charge, excluding deviations. See how easy to is to take our buses to retail locations, to the libraries, or to the movies! Transit staff will also be distributing surveys to get your feedback. Fill one out and you'll receive an insulated shopping tote as a thank you.

Produce Assistants help neighbors select fresh fruits and vegetables and keep our produce area running smoothly.
