We took some of the guys to this yesterday and I just want to say… God really showed up.
From the moment we got there, you could feel it—the kindness, the warmth, the way people welcomed us without hesitation. It felt like love in action.
Watching the kids laugh and the guys just be present, smiling and enjoying something simple… that’s the kind of peace we pray for. Moments like that remind us that healing is real and that joy is still possible.
We even ended up winning some gift cards, which felt like a little extra blessing on top of it all.
But the real gift was the reminder that we’re not alone. That there is still light, still goodness, and still purpose in this journey.
Grateful for spaces like this. Grateful for the people who create them. And grateful for the way God keeps showing us hope when we need it most 💚

Today we showed up 💚
My guys got out there and put in the work for the Earth Day clean up in downtown Elkins, and I couldn’t be more proud of them. This is what recovery looks like—giving back, taking pride in where we live, and doing the right thing even when nobody’s watching.
Two bags at a time, one step at a time… just like everything else we do.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made a difference today. Our town matters. Our people matter.

This weekend, the men of Lighthouse showed up and gave back 💪
We had the opportunity to volunteer with Buckhannon River Habitat for Humanity, helping maintain the property by mowing and cleaning up the grounds.
It might seem like a small task, but this is where real recovery lives — in consistency, responsibility, and doing the next right thing even when no one is watching.
These men showed discipline, teamwork, and pride in honest work. That’s how lives are rebuilt — one action at a time.
Grateful for the chance to serve our community and proud of every one of you.

Don’t judge yesterdays decisions with today’s wisdom!

Today, the Lighthouse guys participated in a reentry simulation, and they didn’t just attend — they stepped up.
They volunteered to run the tables, helping guide others through the experience and being part of what made the event work. That takes confidence, accountability, and a willingness to be part of something bigger than yourself.
We are incredibly proud of how they carried themselves — with respect, focus, and purpose.
Reentry isn’t easy. It comes with real challenges, real barriers, and real decisions. Being part of this simulation — especially on the leadership side — gave them the chance to not only learn, but to give back and support others walking a similar path.
This is what growth looks like.

In recognition of Black Balloon Day, our outreach team distributed 42 boxes of Narcan throughout the community. Each box represents more than medication—it represents hope, second chances, and the belief that every life is worth saving.
Black Balloon Day is a day of remembrance for the lives lost to overdose, but it is also a day of action. At Lighthouse, we believe honoring those we’ve lost means doing everything we can to prevent another family from experiencing that same pain.
Narcan saves lives. Education saves lives. Compassion saves lives.
A special thank you to Markie Jeffries for providing the Narcan that made this outreach possible. Partnerships like this help ensure that life-saving resources reach the people and places that need them most.
By placing Narcan directly into the hands of community members, families, and those on the front lines, we are building a network of people ready to respond when it matters most.
