Sue Sue Shrimp Recipe

1-1/8 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1-Cup Real Mayo
1-Cup Garlic Chili Sauce & tblsp brown sugar
(Sub 3/4 Cup Siracha Sauce and 1/4 Cup Sweet Chili sauce 1- tsp granulated garlic, no brown sugar)
2-lbs 31-40 peeled & deveined shrimp. ( I love pink gulf shrimp)
10-12 oz Half & Half
1- egg
3- Cups Drakes Crispy
1-1/2 qts peanut oil, shortening or frying oil of choice.

Makes 4 servings.

Make sure shrimp are thawed and damp but not soaking in water

Sue Sue Sauce: Hand blend yogurt, mayo, chili sauce, brown sugar in stainless mixing bowl. Place in frig.

Take a sip of your favorite beverage!

Egg Wash: Whip half & half & egg in separate bowl.

Breading: Put Drakes breading in a container large enough to allow you to dust shrimp.

Sip!

Put oil in pan and heat to 350-375 degrees. Use a thermometer. DO NOT exceed 375 degrees.

Dredge shrimp in Egg wash. Toss in Drakes dry breading until well coated. Drop in oil. Don’t pour the entire 2 lbs of shrimp in the oil at once.. Divide it up.
* Be careful not to over load your heating oil with too much cold shrimp at once. It can boil over.

Sip!

Fry to a golden brown. 5-7 minutes.
Remove with tongs & place on plate with paper towel to absorb oil.

Once oil is absorbed dredge in Sue Sue Sauce and serve!

Bingo! Enjoy... Cam

Sip!
