Minooka, Illinois – we had an AMAZING time at the 2026 Minooka SummerFest.

The Minooka Summerfest is the biggest fundraiser of the year hosted by the Minooka Lions Club, an organization dedicated to better and serve their community through humanitarian and hands-on projects.

Meet Ryan! As an Inventory Clerk, Ryan plays a vital role in maintaining warehouse inventory to ensure our technicians have all the supplies they need for repairs and installs. He says what he loves most about working for Surf is the welcoming and collaborative environment. “This is the best job I’ve ever had! My boss and team members are always very helpful. I also enjoy being able to work in different locations.”


When Ryan is off the clock, you can find him out in nature where he likes to collect rocks, geodes, beach glass, and more. A hobby Ryan has enjoyed since childhood, he has curated quite the collection of crystals and geodes, as well as fossils and dinosaur teeth over the years. Now, Ryan has his whole family in on his collecting adventures. His two teenage daughters enjoy hiking in the woods with their dad to find cool stones to add to his collection. Ryan also tumbles a lot of the rocks and beach glass he collects then gives it to his wife to craft jewelry, portraits, and shadowboxes, which she sells at various craft fairs. What a cool family hobby!
