Myles and Jay wrapped up a weekend of racing at Thief River Falls this last weekend. Flat lighting made it tough but it was still a fun weekend! This was Myles second USXC race and he had a blast again! He ended up with an 8th place. Jay raced on Saturday and ended up in 12th for the day, but had an off so did not race on Sunday. Thanks to our family for supporting this and all of our sponsors!

Myles had a fun time on Saturday in Park Rapids racing the USXC Heartland 200. It was his first cross country race and he rode roughly 60 miles in about an hour and half! He’s excited and looking forward to Thief River Falls this coming weekend!

Myles Ilstrup, our youngest member of the the team, hadn’t even been born yet when DSTI Racing started with his older brother Jay over 8 years ago. It’s great to see this passion now being shared and passed on in the family.

Myles took 3rd in the Andes Tower Hills D24 Hare Scramble this weekend!

We can’t control the weather but we can sure control how we prepare for it. Glad we can count on Fly Racing to keep us dry during weekends like this!

Myles rode great in the High Winders D23 Hare Scramble at Millville on Sunday and finished 5th.

We officially capped off the 2017-18 snowmobile season with our favorite Cor PowerSports race at Lutsen Mountains. Although DSTI Racing has competed in this 2-day multi-discipline event every year since it was introduced, this year is the very first time that we’ve had all three team members racing here together. Collectively, the team competed in and finished on the podium in all 3 disciplines:

On Saturday,
Ross Ilstrup came away with 2 podium finishes in the HillCross competition,
Winning the Sport 600 Mod class and taking 2nd in Schoolboy.

And Andrew Knoll took 2 more podiums in the Hillclimb discipline,
Dominating the Sport 600 Stock class and taking 3rd in Pro 600 Stock.

In Sunday’s Cross-Country race,
Jay Ilstrup won the Sport Factory 600 class,
Andrew Knoll won Sport Improved Stock and took 3rd in Sport Stock
