Today, we proudly recognize the anniversary of Wilton Rancheria’s restoration of federal recognition.

In less than two decades, Wilton Rancheria has gone from a landless Tribe to the proud owners of Sky River Casino, Sacramento’s minor league soccer team, SRFC, and a major economic driver in the region. We also have established ourselves as a leader in sustainable development, cultural preservation, and community partnership.

As we wrap up MMIP Awareness Month, we reflect on the importance of raising awareness, helping families, and continuing the work needed to bring our people home.

Last week, Tribal Council Members Kevin Singh, Jay Williams, and Annette Williams attended the Elk Grove City Council meeting to accept a resolution proclaiming May as Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Awareness Month.

We thank the City of Elk Grove for recognizing this critical issue and helping elevate awareness throughout our community. While MMIP Awareness Month may be ending, our commitment to advocacy, education, and action continues year-round. ❤️

A new chapter is officially underway at Sky River!

On April 27, Wilton Rancheria celebrated the groundbreaking of our highly anticipated 300-room hotel tower, a major milestone in the continued evolution of Sky River into a premier resort destination for the Sacramento region. The expansion will bring new entertainment and event space, additional dining experiences, a luxury spa and pool, and hundreds of new jobs to our community.

More importantly, it reflects Wilton Rancheria’s continued investment in long-term opportunity, economic self-sufficiency, and a future that benefits both Tribal citizens and the broader region.
