This year, I’ve found myself completely falling in love with darker flowers.

I think it started because so many of our flower friends were drawn to those deep, rich colors. Watching them appreciate those blooms made me look at them differently.

Now I can’t get enough of them. I love their richness, their depth, their boldness… and yes, I think they’re incredibly sexy.

It’s funny how other people’s perspectives can open your eyes to beauty you never noticed before.

Today, my favorite colors are deep reds, dark tones, and peaches—colors that carry their own strength and quietly radiate light.

I feel incredibly blessed to have grown up in a family with such a gentle father.

My dad is a pastor, a singer, and even a songwriter. He has always been kind, patient, and loving. He was my first role model and the person who set the standard for how I hoped I would be treated one day by a husband.

When I got married, I was blessed again with a gentle father-in-law. Not only is he kind, but he also brought the flower business into our family, which is pretty amazing considering flowers have become such a big part of my life today.

My husband is exceptionally good to me and to our boys. He is such a wonderful father.

It still amazes me sometimes that someone in his 30s can carry the responsibility of fatherhood with so much wisdom, patience, and love. He knows how to teach, guide, and encourage our children, and I learn from him too.

Watching him be a dad has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Thank You, God, for blessing me with such wonderful men in my life. 🩵
