This never gets easier to hear this news 😢 We are heartbroken to hear that an Officer with the Golden Police Department in Colorado was killed in the line of duty tonight.
Please keep the family of this hero and all the members of the Golden Police Department in your prayers as they mourn this loss! May they find peace with our community supporting them always

10-33 State Trooper Memorial Roping
The 10-33 State Trooper Memorial Roping was founded in 2016 by Sergeant Honn and Captain Weil, both with the Colorado State Patrol. Both are avid Team Roper's outside of serving & protecting the State of Colorado daily. With their passion for serving Colorado and living the western way of life, it was only natural to put both together and create this annual roping event to give back to the families of loved ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice and were killed in the line of duty.
This event allows community members, families and team ropers to come together and remember our fallen heroes. The 10-33 STMR takes great pride in giving back 100% of tax free proceeds to the families that are in need to help heal and pay for unforeseeable costs.
