You're reading it right!
Originally listed at $1 billion, an admittedly gorgeous 157-acre plot of prime Beverly Hills land was eventually sold for $100,000 at a foreclosure auction.
The catch?
The owner had incurred around $200 million worth of debt that the buyer was forced to take on. While it still seems like quite the deal, it’s the sort of agent-vendor negotiation that I'd happily avoid 💯

Be honest about the condition of the house 🏡
One important issue to consider is the current condition of your property.
All homes develop problems that need repairs, including plumbing issues or a leaky roof. While some homeowners may be tempted to gloss over such issues at the time of sale, hiding them from potential buyers will inevitably lead to negative consequences.
Homeowners should always get a property inspected for such issues before going on the market. The owners can then make repairs or upgrades as needed in advance, and disclose the inspection report and the improvements to buyers before an offer is made.
