This is allegedly the place where the famed Huntgate Massacre took place on June 11, 1864. There are drums that can be heard out in the distance off of the bridge, and sometimes there are screams! It's an awesome place to hang out for a cheap thrill, or just to bring someone special out to enjoy the open country stars :)
If you head out to Third Bridge to view the Aurora, be careful! Most vehicles and people I've ever seen on the road heading out there until you get out by the Bridge. There's also some construction that partially closed County Line, but you can detour around it by staying on Smoky Hill and following it until you come to the intersection that you can't turn right, but left takes you out to the Bridge. If it's like tonite, you will have a lot of company heading out that way so just follow everyone else! :)

Some of you MIGHT see the Aurora Borealis tonight!
A lot of you have asked.
It’s not my area of expertise, but based on what I’ve read, the best chance to view it is going to be away from the city lights looking north (obviously) between sunset and midnight. Weather permitting of course.
Cross your fingers, toes, and eyes.
Just in case some c***e tries to report me, I do not own the rights to this picture 😬
If anyone happens to see it, please take pictures. I am in Mexico and my chances of seeing it on a scale of 1 to 10?
