Thankfully with the help of Colorado Ranch Vet we were able to make sure he was healthy and received colostrum in time. Dr. Heather and Bridget were able to draw blood to check his total protein and even taught the girls how to do it with her fancy machine. Renee, her practice manager, literally walked me through every step of pulling Helen’s breech calf and then walked me through practically a full resuscitation of him after he came out floppy and not breathing. This boy is a true miracle. 💙 lucky to have such amazing support people who stay up until 2 am with me, because THEY CARE. Love you all.

Our Favorite mini jersey, Helen, had her baby 2 nights ago. She had a beautiful painted bull calf but it was a rough breech delivery. 💙

Leche, our Brown Swiss, had her sweet little heifer on 12/19. She is a great mama and making a lot of milk for both her baby and us.

We named her 🩷 Latte ☕️

Lollipop had her third calf here with us last week. ❤️

We have Raw Cow’s Milk herd share openings available now. We produce and distribute more than 160 gallons a week to local families and have about 8-10 more shares available.

We have 3 options for pick up-

⭐️Farm pick up in Elizabeth- off of 86 and CR3 - most days of the week

⭐️Castle rock pick up off of Happy Canyon and i25 - Tuesday pick up between 1:00pm-9pm

⭐️Parker pick up at The Refillary - Thursday or Fridays during their business hours.

We also offer cream, yogurt and eggs to our herd share customers.

It is $50 to buy in (one time fee)
$50/month for 1/2 gallon a week ($45 cash)
$95/month for 1 gallon a week ($90 cash)

So we have decided to open up a new drop spot in Happy Canyon (Castle Rock). The new drop will be located off of I-25 and Happy Canyon Road.

We had an unexpected cow birth this past weekend!
If you’re on our waitlist I have slowly started opening up some more spots 🙌🏼 by February we will have even more.

My morning milking routine ☀️

My morning milking routine. 🥛 🐮 I am not an early bird... But I really enjoy having time to wake up before the chaos begins. Milking before the kids get up allows me to have my quiet time, breakfast and coffee before I am bombarded with the 4 little humans who need me. Usually when I am done the kids are all awake and have gotten ready for school, had breakfast, fed their younger siblings breakfast and packed their snacks and lunches. I usually just help them with their hair and all the little last minute things before we hop in the car at 7:30am to head to school 🤍 #rawmilk #homesteading #homesteadingwithkids #homesteadinglife
