The music doesn’t really end when the concert does… it just moves to the Afterglow. Good company, a few drinks, and the best way to celebrate a beautiful concert!

Huge thanks to the Rossows for opening their home to us. We’re lucky to have you. 🥂🎶

Sunday was something special.

This weekend, the Elgin Master Chorale presented That This Nation Shall Live in an afternoon of powerful music, reflection, and collaboration that brought our community together in a truly meaningful way.

At the heart of the program was Terra Nostra by , performed with depth and conviction by our singers and instrumentalists. We were honored to welcome Stacy in person, alongside for our Beyond the Bar Lines pre-concert talk. It was a moment that deepened the experience and invited our audience into the story behind the music.

This performance would not have been possible without the incredible collaboration of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, the Elgin Youth Choir, the Hampshire Middle School choirs, and the Elgin Community College Concert Chorus. Sharing the stage with so many dedicated musicians made this performance all the more impactful.

To our audience: thank you for showing up, for listening, and for being part of this moment with us. Your presence is what brings this music to life.

And to our donors, sponsors, and supporters: We must thank you for making performances like this possible. Your belief in our work allows us to continue creating, collaborating, and connecting through music.

We are proud of what we created together and we’re already looking forward to what comes next.
