We are excited to announce that Rachel Mago has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Taylor Company!

In this expanded role, Rachel will assume responsibility for the sales teams in Europe, APAC, and other global service and sales groups. Rachel has a vast knowledge base, endless enthusiasm, and has successfully built deep connections and trust with Taylor partners and customers.

One could say that Rachel was destined to work at Taylor. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, her first job was at the only custard shop in Washington State! That’s not to say she took a direct line to Taylor, though. A Spanish major in college, Rachel moved to Spain to teach English. Returning home and teaching high school Spanish for a year prompted her to explore a career shift to sales. Rest assured, her Spanish fluency is in use and a definite asset to her current global role.

Growing up in the PNW fostered her sense of adventure and love of the outdoors, which has led to several foreign hiking adventures with her husband, Johnny. Check out this cool photo of the pair in Iceland! She always up for travel and adding stamps to her passport.

At her Chicago home, Rachel enjoys experimenting with recipes, discovering new restaurants, and tackling the most intricate Legos. Of course, she visits her family in the PNW as much as possible.

Congratulations to Richard Perez, Maintenance Supervisor at Jade Range, our newest Middleby MVP!

With more than a decade of dedicated service, Richard has been highly dedicated to the safety of his colleagues and the Jade facility. His keen eye and attention to detail have been instrumental in maintaining and exceeding regulatory and company safety standards. His coworkers say he leads by example, promoting a culture of safety throughout Jade.

Honorable mentions for July are Brian Martens of Nieco and David Higgins of QualServ.

Richard, congratulations again and thank you for all you do to ensure Jade continues to manufacture their exceptional products used by top chefs worldwide in the safest possible.

Today we pause to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, the families and friends they left behind, and the honor and courage shown by those who ran towards danger.

Middleby Corporate is proud to support Habitat for Humanity. We know our team is great at what they do in the office, but now we know of their construction talents! They recently helped make progress on a home build for a family near our Elgin, Ill. headquarters working with the Northern Fox Valley chapter.

For 50 years Habitat for Humanity has been a global movement of people working together to build more prosperous, vibrant communities and expanding access to safe and affordable homes. Team Middleby is proud to play a small part in helping them reach their goals in our community, though support of the Northern Fox Valley Chapter.
