Good morning!!! Sawyer doesn’t mind his yellow collar at all..It helps to let me know where he is playing and exploring..Have a good day!!!
Sawyer is beginning to learn the piano..Lol!
Sawyer had a dear friend of mine come by for a visit today..Rena has been my pet sitter from years ago..She brought over a huge bag of break away collars for.Sawyer to try on.. Rena just loves Sawyer and said she hasn’t laughed so much seeing a kitten play…She said they certainly can keep a smile on your face..
A quick blind save with using a simple correction for Sawyer..Nothing harsh just a calm correction and he moves on..Good job Sawyer!!!
A view from the window!!!!
Good Saturday Morning to all…I videoed Sawyer and Tux together after the storms from Thursday night..I put them together in their room with that large cat carrier you may have seen..It was my plan for them if I needed to go to the basement if we had the possibility of a tornado…We lost power on Wednesday as soon as the storm started ..and got it back on before dark..I am so thankful for that..I realize many are still without power and the difficulties that can transpire…I prayed for everyone to be safe several times and praying for those that had so much damage..Peace and love to all
Good afternoon from Sawyer and me.. Because I am a dog and cat groomer I always like to share natural ways to treat your pets ..So I have a homemade solution that is very simple to make to keep fleas and ticks off your young kitten or kittens…I don’t like to do anything when they are nursing.. but around 8 to 12 weeks this is safe for a kitten..I use a glass spray bottle ( if possible for you) with. 1 cup of distilled water, 1/4 of a cup of apple cider vinegar, and a 1/2 a teaspoon of a carrier oil like coconut oil.My favorite coconut oil is Dignity Brand..Let the coconut oil go from a solid to liquid so it can be mixed well..Shake it all up in the bottle and spray a small amount on a soft wash cloth and wipe a very small area of the fur..Watch it for a day and see if there is any reaction ..There shouldn’t be..Kittens can be afraid of spray bottles so. Use the wash cloth..Never spray around the eyes…Hopefully it helps your babies..
Well..Sawyer and his Brother ate their breakfasts so politely and gently…But there are no boundaries with baby Sawyer ( Yet)!!! At 11 weeks old his manners are still on survival mode from his beginning…and a typical active kitten going in for second helpings without questioning Tux..I expected that…and that is why he had Brunch with his brother….Tux is so well mannered and continued to eat and would share his food with Sawyer..But Sawyer dived in to hopefully finish up Tux’s food ..So I grabbed him and placed him in the cage so Tux could finish..Sawyer thinks it must be an unlimited buffet …My point..No hissing or guarding food.or helping yourself when eating canned food.I let Sawyer out of the cage as soon as Tux was finished..!!!! Dry food is left out for all my cats…They can come and go anytime..Sawyer can’t eat the big boy dry cat food…So no worries..Sawyer is more than a Taste Tester so I monitor that..I want all my cats to get along.with Sawyer and my dogs..So far doing well…
