Looking at the Accuweather forecast, we should be a go for a dry zoo presentation today -- 12:30, CHI-TOWN Chi-Town Exotics LLC! Jimmy always brings fascinating critters with him, so don't miss it -- TOTALLY FREE! Then, consider coming on over to the museum, where we have special Dinosaur visitors for the summer, plus a new America 250 MILLION Years Ago Scavenger Hunt with prizes, and a Discovery Room full of interactives. But we're not just for kids -- lots of exhibits for adults to enjoy, too! Museum admission is $3 adults, $2 kids 3-12 and Seniors 60+, and free for under 3, museum members, and Elgin Twp Senior Access Passes. Come on out and enjoy Lords Park!

Our new scavenger hunt is America 250 ... but with a natural history twist! What was happening here 250 MILLION years ago? Follow the story around the museum number-to-number, find them all, and claim a prize from our fabulous showcase! Open Thursday-Sunday 12-4 through summer (but closed July 4th).

Friday inside Lords Park Zoo - Elgin, Illinois! Miss Judy will read a charming story about chipmunks and lead a chipmunk mask craft. The zoo is free, and the presentation is free! Just be there, 11:30-12:30 for this program made possible by Friends of Lords Park Zoo, and Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church.

EPM sends our condolences to the family and friends of John Roberson. John was the architect of the east wing addition to the museum back at the turn of the 21st century. He put a great deal of effort into making it consistent with the original west wing's and atrium's Neo-classic style, bringing symmetrical balance to what up until then looked like a lopsided building. Thank you, John.
