Happy Birthday, Sam!

We’re excited to welcome Earl Rigsby to the Voice with Vee Music School team!

Earl is a music educator, vocal instructor, and theater music director with years of experience working in both school and community arts programs throughout the Fox Valley area. He currently teaches private voice lessons and serves as a music director for Children’s Theater of Elgin and Fox Valley Theater Company. He has also worked with the pit orchestra for Marquee Youth Theater.

Many of our families may recognize Earl from this past season of Descendants, where he and Vee worked together as music directors. Beyond theater, Earl has taught general music, choir, and private voice lessons at several schools throughout the area, including Hampshire High School.

Earl earned his degree in vocal and general music education from Ball State University and continued additional music studies at Roosevelt University. He has also served as a judge for D300 Solo & Ensemble and Illinois Music Education Association events.

We’re so excited to have Earl joining our studio and know our students are going to learn so much from his experience, talent, and passion for music and theater.

We’re so excited to welcome a new teacher to the studio—Sam Dennison!

Sam is a guitar teacher and vocal coach who brings both skill and heart into what he does. He’s been playing guitar since he was 9 and singing since he was 16, and you can feel that experience in the way he connects with music and with people.

Outside of teaching, Sam loves songwriting, staying active, traveling with friends, and—his words—eating good food (which we fully support). What I love most is his heart behind it all—his goal is to write music for the church, move people through what he creates, and walk alongside others as they grow in their own musical journey.

He’s already been such a great addition to our team, and I truly believe our students are going to love learning from him.
