A generous donation of a full pallet of soft drinks has arrived at the Elgin Wayside Center, provided by The Coca-Cola Company in West Dundee.
We are grateful for partners who continue to support us in tangible ways. This donation will go a long way in supporting both our residents and staff, especially as we head into the warmer days ahead. π
Thank you, Reyes Coca-Cola!

PLEASE THE NEED THIS EASTER! Before Wayside, Charlie found success early in business and in life. But a few wrong turns and a severe health crisis left him without work. Eventually, he lost everything heβd ever worked for.
Every year, hundreds of people find their way here for a variety of reasons: homelessness, addiction, or even abuse. Others simply have nowhere else to turn.
With your help, people like Charlie start to believe anything is possible! Even after losing everything.
$2,25 helps us provide Safe shelter, Meals, Recovery and a Chance to rebuild their lives on the promises of God.
Your support is helping them believe that through the grace of Jesus Christ, life can be full of second chances and new opportunities. You help them believe God has a better plan for their lives. Today Charlie is a Resident Coordinator and a key member of our recovery and intervention staff.
Give Your Best This .
PLEASE DONATE.
There is a way out of homelessness, addiction and abuse.

Meet Greg, He is one of our new RA's on staff now at the recently expanded Elgin Wayside Center Residential Housing and Recovery Program on Berkley Street in Elgin. Greg and others Wayside staffers are working hard to welcome new guests and provide a safe, secure place to rebuild their lives. β€οΈ
The new Residential wing can house up to 32 people.
Greg is a graduate of Wayside Cross' Master's Touch Men's Ministry in Aurora and know firsthand, the struggles of addiction and brokenness what can happen when you turn your life over to Christ. π
The program is structured recovery and work readiness program which can be a little challenging at first, when a new resident signs up. But Greg and others are there to encourage and support them in their journey. β
This new addition to EWC portfolio of services is currently only available for men. π π π
But our regular daytime services are still available to women, and men who are not part of the men's recovery program beginning at 11 am. This day time service for non-program participants still include free lunch, and connection to other services available throughout the community.
Please join us in welcoming Greg to the Elgin Wayside Center Serving Team. π
