🚨 We Need Egg Cartons!!🚨

We are in need of empty egg cartons to help us distribute donated eggs to families in need. If you have any clean, empty cartons, please consider dropping them off at ECC during our visiting hours, Monday & Tuesday 8:30am - 10:30am.

Every carton helps us ensure that eggs are safely packed and shared with our community! Thank you for your support! ❤️

This week, our dedicated team has been hard at work **packing donated eggs** for distribution. Thanks to your **egg carton donations**, we’re able to safely package and share fresh eggs with local families in need.

Despite the rainstorms last week, our incredible Elgin Community Cupboard volunteers showed up with determination and heart to ensure that food distribution continued smoothly. With quick thinking, we adjusted our process—having vehicles drive up to the patio—so our "wagon-pulling volunteers" could stay a little drier while still serving our community.

To everyone who braved the storm, adapted to the changes, and rolled with the weather—we appreciate you & are here for you! Your resilience and patience make all the difference. Rain or shine, we’re here for each other! ❤️

Do you or someone you know need extra assistance during an emergency? The State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry (STEAR) is a free program designed to help local emergency planners and responders understand the needs of the community.

✅ Who Should Register?
- People with disabilities
- Medically fragile individuals
- Those with limited mobility
- Individuals with communication barriers
- People needing additional medical or personal care assistance during emergencies
- Anyone requiring transportation assistance

Signing up helps emergency responders better prepare and assist those in need during critical events.

❄️Important Update: Donation Distribution Moving Indoors this week!❄️

Due to the severe cold weather front expected this week, the Elgin Community Cupboard will still hold its regularly scheduled donation distribution at the usual time, but instead of distributing outside, we will be moving inside for everyone’s safety and comfort.
