Last weekend, Marissa and Aly attended Church of the Brethren Youth and Young Adult Ministries Young Adult Conference at Camp Blue Diamond! In addition to having fun with friends, enjoying camp, and sharing about BVS and Church of the Brethren FaithX, Aly also led a BVS themed escape room! They also found a throwback BVS brochure...

If you're sad you missed the escape room, not to worry! We will be bringing it to Annual Conference and NYC this summer!

Church of the Brethren Intercultural Ministries Café: Faith & Culture Conversations—rooted in relationship, discipleship, and practical intercultural engagement—will be held once a month for the next few months.

The next online event will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:30 pm, and continues on a monthly basis through Oct. 20. It will be a space for meaningful dialogue, spiritual growth, and intercultural connection.

We will have a panel of BVS alumni who served in Unit 85, sharing about their experience serving during the Vietnam War in 1969.

In order to save your place, please pre-register by June 1! There is no guarantee that tickets will be available during conference.

Our volunteer spotlight this week is Unit 338 BVSer Lydia Neuhauser! Lydia is serving with the Asian Rural Institute in Tochigi, Japan.

Lydia works as a farm and office manager at ARI. On the farm, she works with chickens, crops, and veggies every day. In the office, Lydia is developing a report for regenerative organic certifications for the farm. She is enjoying building community, working hard, and connecting with the land. Thank you, Lydia, for your service!
