Today, we honor and celebrate Chief Julie M. Joyner on her retirement from the Elberta Police Department. Chief Joyner’s dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to serving and protecting our community have made a lasting impact on the Town of Elberta and everyone who has had the privilege to work alongside her. Throughout her career, she has led with integrity, strength, and compassion, setting an example of excellence in law enforcement and public service. As she begins this new chapter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her years of service and wish her nothing but happiness, relaxation, and many blessings in retirement. Congratulations, Chief Joyner — your service will always be remembered, and your legacy will continue to inspire.

** Reminder** Elberta Police Department has a drug take back box available to citizens. However, we do want to remind yu, NO LIQUIDS or GLASS. Also, it is appreciated if you will remove the medication from the bottles and place into a separate bag, such as a zip lock bag. You do not need to bring your prescription bottles in with the medication.
