VBS is more than a week of games, crafts, and fun.

For years, we've watched God use VBS to impact lives. Kids have heard the gospel, made lifelong friendships, grown in their faith, and taken meaningful steps toward following Jesus. Many families in our church can point back to a VBS experience that helped shape their spiritual journey.

As we look back through these throwback photos, we're grateful for what God has done in the past and excited for what He will do at Illumination Station this year.

If you're serving during Vacation Bible School this year, make plans to join us for our VBS Preview Party on Sunday, June 14, immediately following the worship service!

We'll enjoy lunch together while walking through everything you need to know for VBS. This is our opportunity to preview the week, go over schedules and expectations, answer questions, and make sure everyone is ready for an incredible week of ministry.

Whether you're leading a group, helping with crafts, games, snacks, registration, or serving behind the scenes, we encourage every volunteer to be there. The more prepared we are, the better we can serve the kids and families God brings our way!

Please remember to bring in snacks and letters for the staff at Camp Baldwin ASAP! We are very grateful for this christian camp in our community that we can support and encourage as they welcome hundreds of visitors to their campus this summer!

One of the greatest privileges God gives parents is the opportunity to point their children to Jesus.

On Sunday, June 28, we will be celebrating Baby & Child Dedication during both worship services at Elberta Church. This special time allows parents to publicly commit to raising their children in the instruction of the Lord while our church family commits to encouraging and supporting them along the way.

If you would like to participate, please register at elbertachurch.com/events. After registering, a member of our team will reach out to request a photo of your child that will be used during the dedication service.

As we gather for worship, we'll continue our study through the book of Galatians and look at Galatians 2:1-10. Take a few minutes today to read the passage and come prepared to worship, fellowship, and study God's Word together.

And yes, for those keeping score at home, we are actually getting to Galatians 2:1-10 this week. After our wonderful Ecuador Missions Team debrief last Sunday, we ran out of time before we could get to the message. So, let's try this again!

Our students are off to camp! Please be in prayer for them as they take this week to focus on their faith and grow in their walks with Christ.
