New livestock just arrived. Two steers and a heifer we’re weaning for a friend. Once she’s weaned, she’ll go back to her herd. A third steer will be here next weekend.

We have six kids (3 does & 3 bucks/wethers) and two mature, proven ADGA Registered bucks available. All kids can be registered too. The 3 doe kids are all blue eyed. The mature bucks, Lil Journey Farm Wi******er (red) and Lil Acres Goat Farm Dash are leaving for herd diversity. They’re both friendly and sweet. Dash has blue eyes. PM for additional details and pics.

Buttons kidded today with triplet buck kids. She’s an awesome mom and did great! These boys are handsome too! More pics tomorrow.

Our first freshener, Primrose, kidded tonight with beautiful blue-eyed twin doe kids. Prim is already proving to be a great mom to theses adorable little girls.

A few pics of yesterday’s kids. You can see the size difference between #2 & #3. But little girl is adorable, and has her sire’s blue eyes. All three will be available at weaning.

Raising and breeding goats can be very challenging. Today we had the hardest kidding yet.

#1 was a breached buck and was stillborn.

#2 was a doe and came ten minutes later.

#3 was a massive buck. An hour and 40 minutes after #2 was born, I was in the process of loading the kennel to take Daisy in for a c-section when she finally got him far enough that I was able to go in and pull him out. He’s MASSIVE! (Double the size if #2).

#4 is medium sized doe, and came 10 minutes after #3 with no problems.

Two girls and a boy survived. Daisy is exhausted, but she and the baby’s are doing ok.

I’m incredibly thankful for my amazing mentor over at Little Journey Farm. Couldn’t have done it with you!

We had a bit of a surprise today. We came home from church and found that Jazzy (Lil Acres Goat Farm Jazz Band) kidded with quads sired by Lil Journey Farm Tahoe a full week early. Unfortunately, two of the buck kids didn’t make it. But the other two, a beautiful white polled doe, and a red buck are adorable and doing great. They’re tiny, but great! Both kids will be available at weaning.

These two are one week old and they are adorable!
