Just a friendly reminder about keeping track of valuable items during your travels. Expensive items such as tablets, e-readers, GPS devices and more during a trip is key. This author recently left an e-reader and a GPS in the seat pocket of a plane, and unfortunately, they are gone forever. This was quite a costly mistake. Keep your valuables handy, in sight, and don't forget to collect your valuable items in your hurry to deplane, or return a rental car.

A good way to de-stress and forget about your day-to-day troubles is to take a road trip, making sure to plan accordingly in advance.
