Fun time speaking at Yolo County’s environmental roundtable, highlighting many of our top environmental protection efforts through my time in the Senate:

✅ $10B climate bond to improve resilience statewide
✅ Reducing plastic pollution and improving recycling efforts
✅ Investing in renewable energy and clean transportation to reduce harmful emissions, and more!

Always appreciate partnerships across different levels of government and sectors to ensure future generations will have a healthy place to live!

We celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month just as our Muslim community faced a nightmare in San Diego last week.

This senseless hatred has bound the Jewish and Muslim experience together throughout history, and we are heartbroken by this recent act of Islamophobia. We continue praying for the victims and their families, the heroes who stepped in to minimize the loss of life, and the Muslim community across California.

California’s diversity is at the root of what makes this state so special. We must continue striving to bridge divides, approach differences with empathy and understanding, and celebrate the many cultures that enrich the world around us.
