It was oddly satisfying watching these ‘ocean drones’ cruise around in tight formations. Excited to share more from this shoot in the coming weeks!

Our collaboration with over the years has become something bigger than just a series of projects. It’s been a space to explore how athlete/brand partnerships are seen, felt, and told.

From fast-paced moments to immersive sound design, this body of work has helped shape a narrative language we are constantly refining; one that lives at the intersection of sport, culture, and storytelling.

Working with and is one of those full-circle moments that brings us back to our roots.

With having given one of our first real opportunities on Proximity, and long serving as a source of inspiration and guidance behind the lens, this project felt especially meaningful from the start. Over the years, collaborating with Kelly and John Moore from Outerknown has always felt deeply aligned.

It is always a privilege to work alongside people we look up to and even better to bring the group back together again.

’s path to directing began with an early passion for visual storytelling, shaped by a childhood fascination with photography and a deep curiosity about the world.

With a background in science, journalism, and global storytelling, her work is rooted in authenticity and a desire to create meaningful human connection. She brings a rare balance of technical precision and emotional depth, crafting stories that feel both intentional and real.

Drawing from her experience as a professional athlete, Anjali approaches every project with a collaborative, team-driven mindset that empowers both talent and crew. Her work often lives at the intersection of sport, movement, and humanity; where performance and storytelling naturally align.

As she continues to expand her work across commercial, documentary and narrative film, Anjali remains focused on telling stories that resonate far beyond the surface.
