We were honored to team up with BET & Cashmere Agency to produce the show package for the 2020 BET Awards which premiered June 28th. The entire package was designed, edited, animated, filmed and finished remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Big Block team, led by Creative Director Robin Resella, was responsible for the overall design aesthetic and production of the show assets. The design narrative was to tell the story that the show and culture was too big to be canceled. The idea focused on emerging from elements to reveal design that could not be contained by typical boundaries or visual guides.

We recently teamed up with to relaunch the website. Big Block developed the visual language for the home page hero video and shot the live action. Thanks to Director/CD Andrei Juradowitch who led the creative charge and directed the live-action. Calling all Gamers!
We're producing a digital series called LVL UP that delivers custom gaming lair makeovers reflecting the personality and gaming interests of the selected gamer.
The series will be hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, who is currently a commentator with Dwayne Johnson for “The Titan Games”. Goldenboy comes from a tenured history in esports and is a desk host for Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch League and previously worked with Epic Games’ Fortnite Battle Royale, Cheddar TV, TBS’s ELEAGUE, Major League Gaming (MLG), Psyonix’s Rocket League Championship Series, 343 Industries Halo Championship Series and Electronic Arts’ Battlefield series. Outside of esports, he also commentated CEO X New Japan Pro Wrestling.
