Waterhouse Guild is a K—8 community guildschool where the curiosity of each child re-animates traditional learning.
Our goal is to share the breadth of Guild activities where each child is encouraged to tap into and cultivate his or her greatest potential and strengths. Learning is about gathering and retaining information, but it is also about synthesizing new information. Both aspects are an integral part of our children’s important work.

Manual competence is a lost art. Love this little boat carved by hand after reading Rascal. Nothing’s surprising in the North household, not even Sterling’s new pet raccoon. Pick up a copy of Rascal by Sterling North to read aloud, and be inspired by his vivid descriptions of nature to create via the world beyond your head!

Scribble a Work of Art! 1) Use the entire space when drawing the original scribble in pencil and tracing with a Sharpie pen in various thicknesses. 2) Use colored pencil to fill in shapes. 3) Use a new color for each shape.
