Mimi has been adopted by the parents of our volunteer extraordinaire… and we couldn’t be happier!
She’s heading to desert life… sunshine, wide open skies, golf cart rides, and all the love she deserves. But don’t worry… she will be back for visits. Happy forever sweet little thing

To know Tank is to love Tank!
Tank was a pillar of the community and the heart of the Tavern on Main in El Segundo.
He was the friend who greeted everyone with a wagging tail (always hoping for a few pets and many treats), a comfort on hard days, and a joy to see just sitting there with his big smile.
From his early days with us to his pawrents taking over, Tank was part of the rescue family through and through. We are heartbroken for his pawrents, who have always been such wonderful supporters and friends of the rescue. Tank was part of many adoption events, and he proudly served as the host of fundraisers like the Annual Holiday Photo or the Easter Keg Hunt events
His pawprints are forever on Main Street, and forever in our hearts. Tank… you will be welcomed by so many at the pearly gates 💔

Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Event for Cats
Our friends at Whiskers and Tails Foundation have spots available for their upcoming low-cost mobile clinic, happening on September 8.
This event is for cats only and is by appointment only (book your spot!)
Let’s help keep our feline friends safe&healthy

Look at these gorgeous puppies (some people call them babies 😉) and their lovely mom! Hope for Paws reached out to help foster them until they grow big and strong enough for their forever homes. Mom is an absolute doll too… how could anyone resist these faces!?! Having a puppy is so good for the heart and soul… the cuddles, the joy, the chaos… it’s a beautiful life… all worth it!

We wagged, we laughed, we raised lots of money (and plenty of glasses!) under that gorgeous California sunshine at North End Bar.
A few Pal Rescue alumni joined the fun, making it always extra special!
Cheers to love, rescue, and puppy parties done right!

We had to say goodbye to our 2-legged Blake, our feistiest long-time resident of nearly four years. This little one didn’t have the easiest start in life, but oh, did she make up for it in her final years! She ruled her world with confidence (big barks), bossing around her playmates (both dogs and cats, no matter their size), sneaking treats, and proudly stealing toys from her big brother. And while she loved a good snuggle, it was always on her terms. Blake’s spirit was bold, her heart was bigger than she was… run free little one

Frankie was all head when he arrived, now he’s all Mr. Personality! Surrendered at just 2.4 pounds and not even 8 weeks old, he thrived with his foster mom and playmates… maybe a little too much! This tiny T-Rex was ready to take over the pack, but his Energizer Bunny energy was no match for the wisdom of the senior pack!
Now, he’s all fun and games with his big bully sister and all cuddles with his adoring pawrents. He even became a star when his mom took him to work. So happy and grateful that this little munchkin found his perfect furever home!

What an amazing welcome she must have received over the rainbow, at the pearly gates! Wednesday has earned her wings.
For over 13 years, she was a mama bear, a protective wolf, and a bestie to all - pups, dogs, sick ones, and pregnant mamas - who came and went through the rescue. One of those rare souls who touched so many lives. We will miss you forever, but forever in our 💔.
