El Segundo High School Girl’s Lacrosse team is YOUR Division II CIF Southern Section CIF CHAMPIONS. Eagles TAKE REVENGE and bring home a brand new sparkling 2026 CIF PLAQUE. EAGLES SCORE THE 50th CIF CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE SCHOOL along with the FIRST EVER CIF CHAMPIONSHIP WIN FOR THE ESHS GIRLS LACROSSE PROGRAM IN HISTORY!!!!

MVP of the game:

Tessa Tipton: Tessa is a sophomore and a player the other team always has to look out for. Tessa Tipton alone put on ALL of the points for El Segundo’s Championship game! Scoring 3 goals just the first quarter and finalizing the win with her 4th goal! Tessa continues to prove herself as a major asset to the El Segundo lacrosse team. Her leadership and determination on both ends of the field make her one of the team’s most impactful players and a rising star to watch in the program.

Makena Burton: Freshman goalie Makena delivered an outstanding performance in the net for El Segundo. She made countless key saves that kept the team in the game against Huntington. Her quick reactions and composure proved to be a game-changing factor. One of the biggest moments came when Makena made three back-to-back saves, shutting down Huntington’s attack and forcing a turnover. This shifted momentum back to El Segundo. Her effort and determination showed why she is already becoming such an important part of the team.

The Girl's SWIM TEAM or should I say ... YOUR 2026 CIF-SS D2 CHAMPIONS! Earned the 49th CIF win for the school, not even breaking a sweat on May 9th!

SCHOOL RECORD BROKEN by the one and only dream team…Kaia Muslaborn, Audrey Camarillo, Alettarijpkema and Ryan Jones

DYLAN THOMAS JUST CAN’T STOP BREAKING HIS OWN RECORD OVER AND OVER AGAIN… now setting a time of 10.41 for the 100 Meter DASH!!!

DOES THIS NAME SOUND FAMILIAR? YES THATS RIGHT…. DYLAN THOMAS! Breaks his own previously set time with a 20.89 in the 200 meter dash! HE is just on FIRE. Breaking yet another school record!

Baseball Varsity:
4/29: Eagles beat Peninsula 12-3, another devastating blow!
5/1: Peninsula hits the walk of shame after ESHS baseball beats them 12-2 on their home turf!
5/6: Eagles beat South Torrance 18-5 scoring impressively

Girl’s Lacrosse Varsity
4/30: Eagles play their first round of CIF after a bye round. They put San Marcos CIF dreams to and end. Eagles win 8-7
5/7: Eagles CRUSH ROYAL 11-5 in the quarter finals of CIF
5/9: Eagles play Roosevelt and win 14-3 in the semi finals…eagles move onto the CIF CHAMPIONSHIP for the second year in a row, seeking revenge.
5/15: Eagles in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME play Huntington Beach. A close game throughout… but EAGLES PULL THROUGH AND WIN 4-3!.
