I have received a few messages and calls about the current status in Mexico. So we all know what's going on down south at this point and if you don't Google it. So here it goes.., stay away from the entire State of Jalisco for the next 2-3 weeks at least. I'm hearing Mazatlan is pretty hot right now as well. Cancun and Cabo are good. I had family stuck in Guadalajara these past couple days and they had problems finding a hotel to stay and they couldn't put fuel in their vehicle as ALL the gasoline stations we closed down.

Nonetheless here are some tips off the top of my head if you end up getting stuck in Mexico or have people stuck right now.

Seek shelter and minimize unnecessary movements.
Remain in your hotels Air bnb or residence
Avoid areas around law enforcement or military activity.
Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Monitor local media for updates.
Follow the instructions from local authorities
Avoid crowds.
Keep family and friends informed of your location and well-being via phone, text, and social media.

Last but not least remember things can change at ANY moment. What is safe today could not be tomorrow. Y'all stay safe🤘🇺🇸

Charlie Kirks assassination has sparked many things. Politics and religion aside, this incident has changed the way security operates in ANY special event. Alot of people bashing his security team and bashing the university for their lack of law enforcement coverage. Their are many factors that go into what type of security one needs for events and how many people it takes to staff said events. However the ultimate say so is BUDGET. What does their or your budget dictate? Hiring off duty law enforcement gets real expensive real fast. Hiring quality and experienced security personnel or staff is another factor. Not every tom dick and Harry that all of the sudden retired from law enforcement is a security specialist. I see too many of these retired cops thinking they're security professionals but that's an entirely different conversation.

Charlie Kirks security team has been slammed for their lack of performance. Well let me tell you something. His security is top notch but they had limitations as to what they could do and the task at hand. They were hired to perform CLOSE QUARTER protection. Meaning they felt based on the experiences they've all had in all their events that a threat was most likely to come from a close proximity. Never did anyone anticipate a threat coming from a long distance such as what we saw. We can Monday night quarterback this thing a day long but his team performed their duties to the letter.
In closing this i would like to express my most sincere condolences to everyone on Charlie Kirks security team. Losing a client and I can almost guarantee you a friend, is the most devastating thing they could face. My prayers to them all as this will affect them the rest of their days on earth. Much love to them all.

Gilberto Ontiveros Lucero, AKA El Grenas, died today. Many of us grew up knowing this name.
Grenas was one of the top capos and founding members of the Juarez Cartel. I'm not trying to glorify these guys but this dude was a legend here in El Paso and in Ciudad Juarez.

The only thing I'll say is at least these old timers kept violence amongst themselves and didn't involve innocent civilians. These guys still had that honor amongst thieves code for the most part.

Sometimes clients will ask us to take them into some pretty compromising areas. If it's doable we shall go forward. If it's not we will definitely let you know. I'm this case we proceeded.
As we walked into the Venezuelans camp we caught the attention of the Mexican Guardia Nacional which is their version of the National Guard.

This morning, the South Fork Fire is 13,921 acres and zero percent contained. An estimated 500 structures have been impacted by this fire. Crews worked together last night to stop the fire’s spread and providing structure protection where they could. Currently fire behavior is creeping, but a concern today is increased winds that could push the fire further to the east and the northeast.

Air resources will be active today for as long as it is safe to operate, working in tandem with ground resources from multiple agencies, including tribal, federal, state and local cooperators. This is a full suppression fire, and all available resources are responding to help secure line and perform point protection for homes in and around Ruidoso. Fire response will be broken up into three divisions that will work the fire’s south, east and northeast areas along the fire perimeter. Firefighter safety is a top priority.

Due to lack of cell service in the area, crews will work to set up communication lines. Southwest Area Incident Management Team 5 – a Complex Incident Management Team – will arrive today for inbriefing, and will assume command of the fire at 0600, tomorrow, June 19.
