Chalk the Block is presented by Raiz Federal Credit Union and takes place every October in the El Paso Downtown Arts District.

🚨Announcement 🚨due to sustained inclement weather, we’ll be closing our festival a few hours early today. We’re so thankful to everyone who joined us to draw, see our traveling installations, enjoy live music, shop with our artisan vendors, and more.

We are so proud to announce the winners of this year’s Chalk Art Competition!

Chalk Art Awards are announced in an hour, at 1pm inside the MACC auditorium! All our chalk artists, families, and community members are welcome to join us as we see who wins all five of our amazing prizes.

Our judges were able to get their results in before the rain picked up, and we’re also very excited to announce this year’s People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Raiz Federal Credit Union!
