What NOT TO DO if you encounter a snake.
Do not pick up the snake or try to trap it. NEVER handle a venomous snake, not even a dead one or its decapitated head.
Do not apply a tourniquet.
Do not wait for symptoms to appear if bitten, get medical help right away.

A child or weak swimmer can drown in the time it takes to reply to a text, check a fishing line or apply sunscreen. Death and injury from drownings happen every day in home pools, bathtubs, hot tubs and even buckets as well as at the beach or in oceans, lakes, rivers and streams.

Making sure guns are stored safely is especially important when school is out, and children are spending more time at home. This means locked and unloaded, with ammunition stored separately. Just talking to your child about the dangers of fi****ms is not enough.

Safe Storage. All guns in your home should be locked and unlocked, with ammunition locked separately . Make sure children and teens can’t access the keys or combinations to lock boxes or gun safes. And remember not to keep loaded, unlocked guns in the car, either.

Assign a water watcher, an adult who will pay constant attention to children in the water.
If you are the water watcher, be sure to:
-Put down you cellphone
-Avoid other activities
-Supervise even if there are lifeguards
-Switch off with another adult for breaks
