It is not just USAA...many others are guilty of the same. Many deny legitimate complaints and many also under pay them. Unless consumers start to file complaints with their state's Department of insurances and BBB etc. Things will get worst. If you find yourself in this situation call a Public adjuster. Why does Texas-based USAA have an ‘F’ rating from the BBB? And why doesn’t the company seem to care? USAA, one of the nation's most prominent insurance companies has gone from an 'A' grade to an 'F' grade at the BBB in one year. Watchdog Dave Lieber asks why.
Call your insurance agent. Ask them if on your property (residence or commercial), you have 10% ordinance and law coverage. If not add it.
So important as codes change and if you don't have that coverage and a claim happens...it could cost you thousands of dollars out of pocket.
