Thank you to the VFW for the support and space to serve the community.
Krishna Kitchen was founded by a U.S. Veteran — veterans supporting veterans and the local community.

Yesterday at the VFW patio we had the honor of connecting through art, food, and service.
On the left is Eddie Gzus — community organizer, artist, and founder of Soul In Conditioning, a brother who has always stood for awareness, unity, and raising consciousness through love, culture, and service to the people.
On the right is Rama Ranjana, Head Chef of Krishna Kitchen, whose dedication keeps the mission alive — cooking with heart to feed the body and the soul.

The artwork behind us represents what this is all about —
knowledge, devotion, and feeding the masses with prasadam / soul food made with love.

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT FROM KRISHNA KITCHEN
With heavy hearts, we must share that Krishna Kitchen operations are temporarily suspended and our physical location may be closing.

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, several of our vital funding sources — including federal grants, reimbursements, and assistance programs — have been delayed or suspended. Many of our supporters and donors are federal employees or active military, who are also directly affected.

Unfortunately, this has made our overhead unsustainable at this time.

🙏🏽 Despite these challenges, our mission continues. Krishna Kitchen will readjust and keep serving sanctified vegan meals (Krishna Prasadam) through our food truck and local community events.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us, volunteered, and shared in our vision of spreading peace through food. 🌱💛

Krishna Kitchen will be suspending our Weekday Fundraising Hours until October 13th (6PM–9PM) in honor of our volunteers’ family time during school break. 🍂

✨ But don’t worry—our FREE SATURDAY MEAL DISTRIBUTION will continue as always from 11AM–2PM.

Family, Friends, and Community; due to not reaching our fundraising goal this week, we sadly will not be holding our Krishna Prasad/Free Meal Distribution today, Saturday August 23rd.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. 💛 Your continued support makes it possible for us to serve Krishna Prasadam each week.

🌱 If you’d like to help us reach next week’s goal so we can continue serving, please consider donating or supporting our dinner fundraising menu Monday–Thursday evenings. Every order and every donation directly keeps this seva “Service” alive.
