Last Friday, May 29th, we held a small gathering as Assemblymember Mike Fong of the 49th District awarded Our Saviour Center as a 2026 California Nonprofit of the Year. We received the award in El Monte surrounded by the very people that bring our programs to life, making this recognition possible.

We are humbly honored to receive this award and express our sincerest gratitude to Assemblymember Mike Fong for his selection and support.

Today, Our Saviour Center held its Annual Easter Meal Distribution. We distributed food to 447 households - a total of 1,231 individuals, which included a ham or chicken, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and canned goods.

We would like to thank everyone who made this Easter Meal Distribution possible from our donors to our volunteers as well as our partner organizations.

Our team was deeply touched today when three women were moved to prayer after receiving food. One woman was so grateful she began crying as she expressed her gratitude. The work may be difficult, but these moments remind us why we do what we do.

If you or someone you know is looking for reasonably priced groceries for Thanksgiving, Aldi’s is currently offering a Thanksgiving Meal package starting now until December 24th. You can purchase all of the listed items for $40 at Aldi’s and feed 10 people this Thanksgiving.

Attention all parents and guardians! We are excited to announce that enrollment for our upcoming Spring Break Camp is now open. The camp is scheduled to take place from April 1-5, 2024, and welcomes all students from the El Monte City School District. However, please note that spaces are limited, and we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. For more information, please scan the QR code provided on the flyer.
