I wanted to share this detailed information with you regarding my acrylic painting classes! This is a book-your-own class service. So many students have had trouble with my scheduled classes due to scheduling conflicts. So, I decided to offer this convenient service! Minimum 2 students to book at these amazing discounted rates. Prepayment is required to book. No refunds, but I will happily reschedule your class if needed. I will also work with you to come up with a custom composition for your class (no political content, please). I can even travel to you anywhere in the Imperial Valley. Small classes of up to 4 students can be held at my home studio!

I am delighted to present my new original acrylic painting, fresh off the easel as of this Saturday 02/07/26. "Kitty Picard's Starry Night" is a portrait of our beloved Captain Cat in all his furry splendor, among Vincent inspired irises and marigolds, beneath a starry sky. Picard was a wonderful subject to paint. I also added a few photos of him turning relaxation into an art form. He spent a lot of time while I was painting, curled up at my feet, watching me while I worked, peeking up at me from under the table cloth and every so often meowing to remind me to focus on giving him head scratches. This piece will be featured in the professional division of the art competition at our upcoming Fair! What can I paint for YOU?! @calartscouncil I had an amazing experience spent in the presence of so many talented local artists of multiple modalities at @ichs.pioneersmuseum for the Creative Economy Town Hall Listening Session. The California Arts Council put forth several impactful areas of focus for bringing opportunities and income to artists in our community and communities all across California. I was honored to have the opportunity to passionately speak about topics which are so very important to me as a professional artist and art instructor. I was delighted to share the table with @caitlin_de_texas and @rd_media_films; two talented professionals and advocates in their fields. I had the amazing opportunity of working for and with them during the Pioneering Justice and VIVA Maze FSBN Art Campaigns. It was wonderful to see my FSBN artist friend @esteedits and the amazing @harlotheart_org along with the talented and kind advocate from NOCCA @arkroogs and several other artist acquaintances and friends. I am so grateful for having been able to share my story and struggles as an artist in this economy while sharing the ideas for improvement that we conflabed as a group at my table. Very helpful and powerful ideas were put forth. All of you know how passionate I am about my work. I look forward to new artistic opportunities and connections made with all the artists I spent time with today. I had the delight of teaching this fun Tequila themed Paint and Pour party for a lovely group of ladies. We had a blast! Abstract art was on the menu. They learned how to create really vivid drip painting techniques over the outlined under drawings I provided them with. They also personalized their bottles with a fun saying and their last names! Some of these ladies had never painted before. I am so proud of their work!

Who would like to book a Paint & Pour Party (ages 21+) at their home or venue (Imperial Valley). Extra fee to regionally travel out of town. I have very reasonable rates! I also offer Paint Parties for either adults or children, group classes, as well as one-on-one instruction. Adult level classes start as low as $35 per student with all art supplies included! No experience necessary.
